Cobra Energy Drink and Pamo each scored opening day wins in last Saturday’s Superbull Basketball League 2012 1st Conference tip off at the Ladislawa Country Club gym.
Cobra Energy Drink leaned on Lloyd Luage’s 29 points backed by Nelson Llama’s 26 to repulse Magnolia Fresh Chicken, 100-77.
Jong Penaflor led Magnolia with 22 while Eric Irlandez added 20 on a losing effort.
Pamo duplicated that feat after beating Promac, 71-62 in the other match-up which sa Angelo Abrina leading the way with 22 points. Rene Torejas and Dan Morandante added 14 and 9 baskets, respectively for the win.
Ruel Dondoyano led Promac with 18 points.
