The Davao Travel Agencies Association (DTTA) expects to triple the number of visitors for the 3rd Mega Travel Sales Expo on March 2-4 in the atrium of Abreeza Mall.
According to Alex Divinagracia, president of the Davao Association of Tour Operators, travel does not need to be expensive. “You will have it on three-day sale,” Divinagracia said. “We will also offer low rates to the travelers who will bound to Davao.”
Last year’s Mega Travel Sale Expo accommodated more than a 100,000 prospective travelerswith accumulated sales reaching P10 to 20 million.
Divinagracia said they expect some 50,000 to 100,000 travelers a day during the three-day event.
DTAA president Krizia Tan said that there are a lot of promotional packages from more than 20 participating different travel agencies including massive discounts to be offered during the sale period.
“It will be a great opportunity for the travelers to shop for the best deal,” She said.
They also said that travelers can expect big discounts from participating airlines including land arrangements and hotel accommodations.
During the three-day program, they will also holding the 2nd Mr. and Ms. Davao travel ambassador for tourism and HRM students from different schools. More than this, special prizes will also be raffled for the benefit of the visitors.
